September is quickly approaching and that means plenty of special activities will be going on in Jonesborough, along with our usual amazing schedule of storytelling, music and tours.
First up will be the Labor Day celebration on Sept. 5, which features the Johnson City Community Concert Band. The all-volunteer, nonprofit concert will take place at the Visitors Center, giving folks the chance to listen to some wonderful music from 6-7 p.m. as they enjoy the holiday.
Earlier in the day, you can celebrate the end of summer with a trip to Wetlands Water Park. Open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., you’ll want to take advantage of the day because it’s the final day the park will be open this summer!
Beginning Sept. 9 and running through Oct. 2, the Jonesborough Repertory Theater presents Camelot, an Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe musical, based on the King Arthur legend.
