Santa’s Reindeer Makes a Surprise Visit to Gabriel’s Christmas in Jonesborough Tennessee
Jonesborough, TN – Holiday magic came early this year at Gabriel’s Christmas when an unexpected visitor leapt through the store window last night, a local deer who seemed to mistake the shop for Santa’s workshop.
With the help of the Jonesborough Police Department and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the deer was safely guided back outside without injuries. “The deer is just fine.” Said Major Jamie Aistrop with the Jonesborough Police Department. “He left Gabriel’s Christmas going 100 miles per hour down Main Street.”
While the window will need repair, spirits remain high at Gabriel’s Christmas, where staff are already joking that the deer was simply “a reindeer in training” checking in on holiday preparations.
“Christmas is all about surprises, joy, and community,” said Gabe Eveland, owner of Gabriel’s Christmas. “We’re grateful everyone is safe (including the deer), and we’re choosing to see this as a reminder that even nature loves Christmas.”
By morning, Gabriel’s Christmas was open again, inviting shoppers to step into the magic of the season with a smile and the story of their “reindeer visitor.”
