The Jackson Theatre will celebrate the addition of a Steinway grand piano with a special dedication event on Thursday, November 19, at 7pm. The event is free and open to the public and will feature performances by local musicians in celebration of the piano’s arrival at the historic theatre.

Generously gifted by the Historic Jonesborough Arts Foundation, the Steinway grand piano will provide new opportunities for musical performances and programming at the Jackson Theatre. The dedication offers an opportunity to recognize the foundation’s contribution and celebrate the importance of music and the arts in the Jonesborough community.

The evening will feature a variety of performances by local musicians under the direction of Gail Squibb Morris. Jackson Theatre Board Chairman Kelly Wolfe will serve as host, introducing performers and sharing remarks throughout the program.

Guests will also enjoy light refreshments as the theatre marks this special addition to its stage.

The piano dedication will take place at the Jackson Theatre, located at 121 W. Main Street in downtown Jonesborough. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.
