Music on the Square

One of Historic Jonesborough’s most exciting summer weekend activities, Music on the Square, is starting early this year with a fundraising event at the McKinney Center in Jonesborough on Friday, April 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. featuring local food and live music.

Heavy hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be provided by Main Street Café & Catering and Depot Street Brewing.

Guests will be able to experience a silent and live auction. Items for the silent auction will receive bids until 7:30 p.m. for a variety of items including gift baskets, gift certificates, photography sessions, artwork and more. The live auction will start at 7 p.m.

Tickets to this event are $50 for general admission and $350 for a table of eight.  Tickets can be purchased below, or contacting the Jonesborough Visitors Center at 423.753.1010.

All proceeds from the fundraiser go to support Music on the Square, a free event open to the public every Friday evening at 7 p.m. during the months of May through September. The concert series features a variety of musical performances held in Historic Jonesborough on Courthouse Square. This season, Music on the Square will feature a diverse range of music from blue grass and jazz to americano and blues. The 2025 season lineup will be announced during the fundraiser along with new merchandise for sale.

Food options every Friday night include a weekly rotating food truck and downtown Jonesborough restaurants, The Opossums Tale Public House and Buzzed Wings. Carry out options are available.
