Guided Historic Walking Tour
Town Tours – History abounds in Jonesborough. It is Tennessee’s oldest town, after all, and one of the best ways to immerse yourself in the history and the charm is through a walking tour of historic downtown. You can take a guided tour with one of the Heritage Alliance’s very knowledgeable, costumed tour guides lasting about an hour and covering little known facts and the story of Jonesborough from past to present. Multiple types of tours are available. The tour schedule is seasonal.

Don’t have much time, but want to get a taste of Jonesborough’s history and stories that have been passed down from generations? Grab a free self-guided walking tour brochure at the Visitors Center and take in nearly 30 spots all within walking distance throughout the historic downtown district.
