Part Four – The Music and the Laughter One of the best parts of the Radio Show is always the live musical acts. Since the beginning, the Radio Show has featured regional artists. If you have a variety program, you’ve got to have music. In our thirteen years, we’ve had Momma Molasses, Virginia West, George Bailey and Jukebox Jess, Aaron Jaxson, and of course local favorites the Jonesborough Novelty Band.

The Town of Jonesborough is requesting proposals from professional individuals or firms for the purpose of developing a website and branding work for the Jackson Theatre. Specifications for the RFP can be obtained below. All proposals must be received by 10 a.m. on July 11, 2024.

They might have similar themes from time to time, but the stories are different, and we never have the same exact cast twice. StoryTown is also lucky to have a rotating door of musical acts, special guests, and visiting acts.
