This April 24 at 7PM, StoryTown is back with a performance full of wisdom and humor as the cast shares community stories about their life lessons.
StoryTown performs in the format of a live, old-time radio show complete with sound effects, musical underscoring, live skits, and a great musical guest. This month’s show is all about life’s greatest lessons: those learned from the wisdom of grandparents; some learned while living through hardships and coming out the other side; and some learned the hard way including hilarious mishaps and spills along the way!
Joining the cast this month will be the region’s most popular blues artist, Jimmy D from the Jimmy D Band, playing some great hard-driving blues numbers.
The performance takes place on April 24 at the McKinney Center from 7-8PM. Tickets are $10 and available online at Jonesborough.com/tickets or by calling the Historic Visitors Center at 423-753-1010.
