Allaboard! The Chuckey Depot Museum and the Jonesborough Senior Center are bringingmusic, tales, and railroad history to Jonesborough’s newest park on Saturday,September 9^th. Several musical groups are coming together to sharemusic and stories at Lincoln Park. Acts include the Jonesborough Golden HeirsChoir, Jonesborough Senior Center, and area soloists. The concert is directedby Cherry Smith.

Theconcert begins at 4:00 pm that afternoon and will last ninety minutes. Theconcert is free, but donations are encouraged. All donations go to theeducational programs and exhibits at the Chuckey Depot Museum. The museum islocated on Second Avenue in a historic Southern Railroad depot that was movedfrom Chuckey, TN, to save it from demolition. Today, the museum shares thehistory of the Chuckey community as well as the history of the Railroad in theregion. The museum is free of charge so all donations to help with changingexhibits and programming is appreciated.

Seatingwill be provided in the amphitheater courtesy of the Town of Jonesborough, butyou are also welcome to bring your own. Audience seating is not covered. Concessionswill be provided by Paws in Blue. We hope you will join us on September 9^thas we celebrate the Chuckey Depot Museum and the rich, Railroad history of EastTennessee.
