The Jonesborough Storytellers Guild is set tohost a special concert in conjunction with the celebrated worldwideTELLABRATION!™  event on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 2 p.m. at the JonesboroughVisitors Center.

Guilds and storytelling enthusiasts fromaround the globe will share their storytelling talents in concerts held incities and towns to celebrate the art of storytelling on or around the thirdSaturday in November each year. Locally, TELLABRATION!™ brings together eacharea’s most celebrated storytellers, to delight, captivate, and mesmerizeaudiences with their stories. It creates a network of storytelling enthusiastsbonded together in spirit. A portion of the proceeds with benefit the new Centeron Second St. sponsored by Jonesborough United Methodist Church.

Jonesborough’s event will feature specialguest David Novak, with featured tellers Moll Catron, Guerry McConnell, StevenJames, and Wendy Gourley. Novak is internationally renowned and has performedmultiple times at the National Storytelling Festival. Tickets are $10 and areavailable by calling the Jonesborough Visitors Center at 423-753-1010 or byvisiting jonesborough.com/tickets, with limited quantities at the door on theafternoon of the concert.

The Jonesborough Storytellers Guild is the oldest continuing group of storytellersin the nation, offering weekly concerts, special shows, and private performancesin Historic Jonesborough.
