The Storytelling Resource Place (SRP) continues its 2026 tenth anniversary celebrations with the next Tea with a Teller program featuring acclaimed storyteller Elizabeth Ellis! This Tea with a Teller will take place Sunday, August 9, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the special host site, the McKinney Center at Booker T. Washington School, 103 Franklin Ave., Jonesborough, Tennessee.

 Join us for this live event, a relaxed in-person conversation with Ellis about storytelling, creativity, and the experiences that shape the stories we tell. With over 35 years as a storyteller, Elizabeth is a recipient of the National Storytelling Network’s Lifetime Achievement and Circle of Excellence Awards. She is also a frequent favorite teller at International Storytelling Center events in Jonesborough. Pour a cup of tea, pull up a chair, and enjoy good company and rich conversation.
