The fifth annual Heritage Fair, sponsored by theJonesborough Genealogical Society, will be held on September 7 from 10 a.m. – 4p.m. in downtown Jonesborough. Displays and activities throughout downtownJonesborough will relate to history, heritage, preservation and culture. 

TheCentral Christian Church lawn will transform into an artisan village displayingthe trade and homemaking skills of our ancestors.  Sabine Social Society will perform colonial dancesthroughout the day. The Jimmy Neil Smith Storytelling Park and the ChristopherTaylor House will feature a living history timeline, including re-enactmentsand displays, from the colonial period until WWII. History trivia posters willbe featured throughout the town.  Newthis year will be archaeological activities for kids.
