Tickets are now on sale in front of the Courthouse on Main Street!

Pumpkin Fest Sept. 21 from 1-5 p.m.

Jonesborough Area Merchants & Service Association (JAMSA) will host their 3rd annual Pumpkin Fest with even more stops and experiences.

The event will be held in downtown Jonesborough on Saturday, September 21 from 1 to 5 P.M. Attendees will explore downtown Jonesborough to enjoy various pumpkin-themed treats, drinks, and experiences.

Tickets will be $10 and each attendee will receive a 10-hole punch card. Food samples will be 2 punches each and games and activities will be one punch each.

Treats and Activities

Treat stops will offer a variety of sweet and savory pumpkin-themed food and drinks.

Experience stops will provide fall activities such as:

  • a hay ride
  • pumpkin pie eating competition
  • pet pumpkin party costume competition
  • face painting
  • family games at the great pumpkin adventure park at Jimmy Neil Smith Park
  • fabulous fall photo ops in front of the courthouse
  • fall Lego building and crafts at the Jonesborough Public Library starting at 12:30 P.M.

 

Hayride

Hayride wristbands can be purchased separately at the hayride tent located at the visitor’s center for an additional cost of $3 per person. The wristband allows attendees to ride as much as they like, whereas the ticketed punch card can be used for one ride only. Proceeds from the hayride wristband sales will be donated to Paws In Blue.

 

Mini Craft Village

There will be a mini craft village with local artists and craftsmen showcasing a variety of handmade wares along Main Street.

 

The Great Jonesborough Pumpkin Hut 

Additionally, attendees will be able to experience Jonesborough’s first life-sized pumpkin hut. Standing at 12 feet wide and 6 feet deep, the pumpkin hut will feature hundreds of assorted pumpkins lining the walls of the hut. It will be a great opportunity for people of all ages to take pictures and experience Jonesborough’s first-ever life-sized pumpkin hut.

 

Exclusive Paws and Pumpkins Party for Pets

Bring your furry friends and family to Tennessee Tails Pet Boutique for a fun-filled afternoon at the Paws and Pumpkins Party! They’ll have paw-some activities and pumpkin-themed delights, including free samples, treats, and more! This is a free event and does not require a ticket to PumpkinFest.

Picking Up Your Tickets

  • Ticket check-in on the day of the event will begin at noon in front of the Courthouse, located at 100 E Main Street.
  • Early ticket pickup is the day before, Friday, September 20 from 8am-5pm at the Jonesborough Visitors Center, located at 117 Boone Street.
  • The event will take place rain or shine.

About JAMSA

JAMSA is operated by volunteers, consisting of local business owners and community members.  As an organization, they focus on promoting and serving local merchants as well as the growth of Jonesborough as a whole.  Pumpkin Fest is one of the ways JAMSA works to support locally-owned businesses.  The funds raised from Pumpkin Fest will go directly back to Jonesborough small business and the community.
