Get into the Christmas spirit with Historic Jonesborough’s Holiday Tour of Homes on Friday, Dec. 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. The tour will feature eight of Historic Jonesborough’s most treasured establishments, as guests are allowed a once in a lifetime peek into a selection of the town’s most inspiring and festively decorated buildings.
Stops on the tour include a Pre-Civil War residence listed on the National Historic Register, a train car that has been a part of the famous Santa Train, an elaborate Victorian-style building built in the 1800s located in the heart of the commercial district downtown, a more modern gathering place featuring musical entertainment, as well as unique homes and buildings rich with history of the past.
Light refreshments will be served at designated stops on the tour. Guests are encouraged to board the shuttle as many times as they wish while on the tour as they soak in the storybook atmosphere set for the holidays, or utilize their own mode of transportation. Parking will be limited at certain stops. Check-in for the event will be held at Historic Jonesborough Visitors Center.
Admission is $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased by visiting jbochristmas.com/tickets or calling 423.753.1010.
