DESCRIPTION:Nosferatu(1922) with Radiohead Silent Synced 6pm event start 7 pm movie \n SpeakeasyCinema   \nSilents Synced pairs classic silent movies with epic rockmusic soundtracks. This presentation of Nosferatu (1922) featuresRadiohead’s Kid A and Amnesiac albums. \nAn unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker’sDracula\, Nosferatu (1922) is the quintessential silent vampire film\,crafted by legendary German director F. W. Murnau. Rather than depictingDracula as a shape-shifting monster or debonair gentleman\, Murnau’s Graf Orlok(as portrayed by Max Schreck) is a nightmarish\, spidery creature of bulboushead and taloned claws — perhaps the most genuinely disturbing incarnation of vampirismyet envisioned. \nAbout the filmmaker: \nF. W. Murnau was an influential German expressionistdirector\, producer and screenwriter who crafted a total of 21 films\, only 12 ofwhich survived in their entirety. A master of light and shadow\, Murnauexperimented with new filming techniques\, negative exposure\, stop-motion\, andlow angle camera positions. His adaptation of Bram Stoker’sDracula\, Nosferatu (1922)\, is considered a masterpiece of GermanExpressionist cinema. \nNot Rated \n \nRunning Time 94 minutes
