DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the new school year by coming out to the latest editionof the StoryTown Radio Show on Monday\, August 26 at 7:00 pm at the McKinneyCenter.  \n  \nStoryTown performs in the format of a live\, old-time radioshow complete with sound effects\, musical underscoring\, live skits\, and a greatmusical guest. This month’s show is all about going “Back to School” and willinclude stories from both current students and alumni from local schools likeDavid Crockett High School. Joining the cast this month are the aptly named TheAcademics who will be sharing southern Appalachian fiddle tunes. We’ll alsohave storyteller Simon Brooks with us.
