DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Arbor Day andJonesborough’s 19th year of designation as a Tree City USA at thenew Jonesborough School on Friday\, April 28th at 10 a.m.  The Town of Jonesborough is proud tocelebrate with the community and commemorate the day with the planting of anapple tree at the site of the future orchard on the site of the new school. \n  \nThe community is welcome toattend the event and recognize Arbor Day with a short program\, a tree plantingand tree giveaway.  Students from theJonesborough School will also be in attendance and will participate in the treeplanting. \n  \nThe new school is located at 720North Cherokee Street in Jonesborough. Attendees are asked to park along Thompson Meadow Lane\, on the southside of the school property. \n  \nQuestions should be directed toRachel Conger at rachelc@jonesboroughtn.orgor by calling 423.791.3869.
